Are You Ready to Survive?
It's time to Flee or Fail on the Organ Trail!
The Organ Trail Zombie 5K run/walk is a zombie-themed 5K run/walk fun event throughout the City of Douglas, WY and is organized by the Memorial Hospital of Converse County with Bobbi's House and the support of many local organizations and businesses.
This event is not timed and is not a competition--just a fun family experience. Registrants will be survivors and will run/walk from a safe house to the finish decontamination party without becoming infected by our kid zombies. The zombies will be preplaced in one of 8 zombie zones. This is a safe and fun event.
If you want the green experience of NOT being approached or pursued by a zombie, then register for the 1 mile costume walk that finishes at the decontamination party at the MHCC café.

What are Survivors? The survivors are the runner/walkers that have the goal of getting from one safe house to the other safe house without becoming “Infected”.
Survivors may also choose to have the “Green Experience”.
The Green Experience is the 1 mile Haunted Costume walk where there will be NO zombies, you will not be approached or pursued.
Strollers are allowed as long as the supervising adult is pushing the stroller. No dogs are allowed.
What are Zombies and what are their rules?
The zombies’ goal is to slowly move and pull the runner/walkers’ caution tape flags as the survivors pass by. Zombies will be preplaced before the start along the course in one of the 8 zombie zones. Zombies can only use 1 arm and 1 leg at a time to move (e.g., drag one leg and use one arm to grab flags of runners going by). This is a fun run/walk and is not competitive and will not be timed. Runner/walkers and Zombies must stay on the designated course—see the course map.
Where do we register and pick up t-shirts and race packets?
Packets and shirts will be available for pick-up at the Medical Office Building (MOB) on event day (starting at 3pm). Race day registration (at the MOB) starts at 5pm and closes at 4:30pm.
Can I attack or will I get attacked?
No direct or intentional contact with another survivor or zombie is permitted (course monitors will be present). Zombies can go after runners' (Caution Tape) flags but cannot grab body parts, completely impede passage, or tackle. Runners cannot push other runners into zombies. No fake (or real) weapons allowed. Violators of this rule will be asked to leave the event.
