Dr. Steven Beer - Neurosurgery

Dr. Steven Beer is a Board Certified Fellow of the American Board of Neurological Surgery who received his initial training from the University of Iowa. Dr. Beer began his practice in Cheyenne, WY in 2001 and joined Memorial Hospital of Converse County in 2018. Dr. Beer specializes in treating brain and spinal tumors, peripheral nerve disorders, herniated disk, spine fractures, spondylolisthesis. He specializes in the conservative and operative management of brain and spinal disorders. Dr. Beer sees patients in the Orthopedic, Sports Medicine and Neurosurgery Clinic located on the first floor of Memorial Hospital of Converse County in Douglas and performs surgeries at Memorial Hospital or Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.


Dr. Skuza - Pediatric Endocrinology

Dr. Skuza is a Board Certified Pediatric Endocrinologist from New Jersey and is new to the Memorial Hospital family. Dr. Skuza is a graduate of Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey and of the Warsaw Medical School in Warsaw, Poland. Dr. Skuza completed her Pediatric Residency and Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and has spent the last 20 years as an attending pediatric endocrinologist at the Children’s Hospital and University Hospitals of New Jersey. Dr. Skuza is excited to be part of Memorial Hospital and enjoys being much closer to her family and grandchildren in Rapid City, SD.


Dr. Eric Schubert - Neurosurgery

Dr. Eric Schubert is a Board Certified Physician of the American Board of Neurological Surgery and a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the North American Spine Society. Dr. Schubert received his initial training as a Chemical Engineer at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA and later attended the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA. Dr. Schubert completed his residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC and worked for seven years as a Neurological Spine Surgeon in Virginia, Montana and most recently at Mountain View Regional Hospital in Casper, Wyoming prior to joining Memorial Hospital of Converse County. Dr. Schubert holds clinics in Casper, Gillette, and Riverton and performs surgeries in Douglas and Gillette. Dr. Schubert and his wife Donna live in Casper with their two children. In addition to spending time with family, Dr. Schubert enjoys camping, shooting, and motorcycle riding.


Dr. Frederick Freeman - Otolaryngology: Ear, Nose & Throat - Sinus & Allergy

Dr. Frederick Freeman is a Board Certified ENT Physician and a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Members of this esteemed College are required to pass a set of rigorous qualifications and uphold practices that intend to optimize patient care and satisfaction. Dr. Freeman graduated from the University of Miami and completed his Otolaryngology residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC.

Dr. Freeman began his career in Melbourne, FL and relocated to Casper, WY in 2016. He served as the attending ENT physician at Mountain View Regional Hospital and began his practice at Memorial Hospital in July of 2018. Dr. Freeman currently has clinics in Douglas, Casper, Riverton and Torrington. Dr. Freeman specializes in Ear, Nose, Throat, Allergy and Sinus. His practice is thriving here at Memorial Hospital and he is excited to now be offering Allergy testing and treatment in addition to his already successful ENT and Sinus practice. He is thrilled to be providing much needed services to our community and be working with the amazing staff at Memorial Hospital.


Dr. Burk Young - Orthopedics & Sports Medicine

Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Burk Young, is a graduate of Brigham Young University and received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine. Dr. Young completed his surgical internship and residency at the University of Oklahoma and completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Menlo Park, CA where he trained with the orthopedic team surgeon for the San Francisco 49ers and Stanford football teams. Dr. Young has provided physician team coverage for the NFL Combine, Santa Clara University men’s and women’s basketball teams and Championship Bull Riding. He is Board Certified and provides a wide variety of general orthopedic procedures. Dr. Young was in private practice in Utah before joining Memorial Hospital in 2017. He plays the guitar, piano, and harmonica and enjoys singing. He and his wife Teera live in Douglas.


Dr. Angelo Santiago - Neurology

Dr. Angelo Santiago has been in practice for over 20 years. He began Central Wyoming Neurology in Casper, Wyoming in May of 2004. Neurology is a medical specialty focused on the diagnosis and treatment of disorders affecting the central nervous system: the brain and spine, as well as the peripheral nervous system. Neurologists provide care for those diagnosed with ongoing migraines or headaches, epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s and Alzheimers Diseases and other concerns as well.


Todd Erickson - PAC - Neurology

Todd Erickson, PA-C, has been with Central Wyoming Neurology since 2010. Born in Missoula but raised in Wyoming, Todd has worked in many facets of healthcare including Radiology, CT, MRI, Technology, Cardiopulmonary, before extending his expertise and study into the field of Neurology with obtaining a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant. from Pacific University of Oregon.
Todd has also served as the Wyoming delegate to the American Society of Radiologic Technologist House of Delegates for two years, Vice President, President and Board member of the Wyoming Society of Radiologic Technologists and Vice President of the Central District of Wyoming Society of Radiologic Technologists. He has as well lectured on the subject of headaches to the WAPA and NP society’s annual conventions.
Todd is a lay minister for Paradise Valley Christian Church, and he and his wife of 38 years reside in Casper. Having three grown children and six grandchildren certainly keep him busy, but he as well enjoys leading mission trips as well as camping, hunting, golf and wood working.


Dr. Craig Capron - Podiatry

Dr. Capron is a podiatrist at Memorial Hospital. He grew up outside of Clancy, MT and attended podiatry school at Des Moines University in Iowa. Dr. Capron and his wife LeeAnn have six children who love anything that has to do with the outdoors. Dr. Capron also sees patients in Gillette, Lusk and Newcastle.
