This is a PRN position, meaning there are no guarantee of hours of benefits.

The qualified candidate will be a licensed RN or MA maintaining current Wyoming licensure. The candidate will perform a variety of technical, administrative and supportive activities in a clinic to assist medical staff in the examination and treatment of patients, within their legal scope of practice. These activities may include operating electrocardiograph equipment, immunizations, performing waived laboratory testing, performing pulmonary function and visual testing, routine venipuncture techniques, cleaning wounds, applying medications, applying dressings, and administering medications as prescribed by medical staff.

Under general supervision, candidate will perform work of moderate difficulty in the provision of administrative, diagnostic and nursing services in the outpatient setting as delegated by healthcare providers,and will be in charge of ordering/stocking supplies, keeping/logging patients and procedure scheduling, and maintaining scheduling.

The Physician's Office RN or MA will need to be able to communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team, maintain high levels of professionalism, and positively promote the image of the clinic. This position also requires the ability to educate patients and families as to the nature of disease and to provide instruction on proper care and treatment.
