Urgent Care centers provide routine treatment for urgent, but non-emergency, non-life-threatening issues. This includes minor injuries and common illnesses such as cuts and scrapes that require stitches, rashes, sinus infections, or fevers.

You should go to the emergency room if you have severe injuries that affect your movement or will not stop bleeding; if you have sudden severe pain or signs of a stroke or heart attack; fainting; severe breathing problems; extremely high fever, or other "911" emergencies.
