Memorial Hospital of Converse County acquires Central Wyoming Neurology

Memorial Hospital of Converse County announced Wednesday they reached an agreement with Dr. Angelo Santiago to purchase Central Wyoming Neurology. Central Wyoming Neurology currently provides diagnosis, treatment, and management of many neurological conditions, infusion therapy, and MRI imaging for patients across Wyoming.

“Our providers have a great relationship with Dr. Santiago,” said Ryan Smith CEO at Memorial Hospital. “Because of those relationships, Dr. Santiago was comfortable approaching Memorial Hospital once he had made the decision to sell his practice.”

Dr. Santiago and his staff will continue to provide patient-centered care at the current location in Casper, now as an employed physician for Memorial Hospital of Converse County. “Nothing will change much from the patient’s perspective,” Smith added. “We intend to keep Dr. Santiago and his current staff at the clinic in Casper. Eventually he will see patients in Douglas and other Wyoming communities too.”

Dr. Angelo Santiago has been in practice for over 20 years. He began Central Wyoming Neurology in Casper, Wyoming in May of 2004.Neurology is a medical specialty focused on the diagnosis and treatment of disorders affecting the central nervous system: the brain and spine, as well as the peripheralnervous system. Neurologists provide care for those diagnosed with ongoing migraines or headaches, epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s and Alzheimers Diseases and other concerns as well.

Memorial Hospital of Converse County is a 25-Bed Critical Access Hospital located in Douglas.
