Point of Sale System Error

Memorial Hospital’s Point of Sale System at the Arbor Café and Mocha Mollys was upgraded in December of 2018. Subsequently, On May 9, 2019, the hospital discovered the point of sales system was not processing all credit card or debit card transactions. The hospital immediately worked with the vendor to address the credit card processing issue.
As a result, the vendor processed all pending charges, dating back to the system upgrade in early December. Thousands of transactions were processed in bulk on Thursday, May 9, 2019. This was not the hospital’s intent and we understand the impact on some of our customer’s accounts.
We will make this right and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We are working with the vendor, credit card processors and our local banks to reverse all of the past charges posted on May 9th. We value our patients and customers who consistently choose our Arbor Cafe and Mocha Molly’s food brands and will work to correct the issue as efficiently and timely as possible.
