Ear, Nose and Throat

Otorhinolaryngologist is a big word, that's why we call Dr. Freeman an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist or ENT for short. ENTs not only specialize in the surgical sub- specialty of conditions of the ear, nose and throat but also any related structures in the head and neck.

Dr. Freeman provides care for patients of all ages addressing everything from tonsils to sleep apnea and deviated septum. Patients in our region of Wyoming can rely on Dr. Freeman for compassionate competent treatment for diseases of the ear, nose, throat, base of the skull and for the surgical management of cancers and benign tumors of the head and neck.

Sinus and allergy

Allergy symptoms occur when our immune system overreacts to an allergen. It sounds harmless enough, but if you are one of the millions who suffer from allergies, finding relief becomes priority number one.

The Allergy and Sinus Center at Memorial Hospital specializes in just that—finding our patients relief from their specific allergen. It all starts off with an office visit and an allergy test to help Dr. Freeman zero in on the exact cause of your stuffy nose, watery eyes or itchy rash. Once the specific allergens are identified a custom serum is created and injected over the course of months designed to decrease your immune response. Allergy testing and treatment is available at our clinics in Douglas and Casper.

Our sinuses are cavities connecting the bones of our face and skull. These cavities are lightly coated with mucus, which keeps the tissue moist and healthy and also traps bacteria. As air passes through the sinus passage on the way to the lungs, the mucus helps humidify and filter the air we breathe. Our sinuses need to be able to drain regularly and when they don't, sinus problems result.
