Memorial Hospital's Laboratory Department provides services in blood bank, chemistry, coagulation, hematology, immunochemistry, microbiology, microscopy, point-of-care testing, serology, special chemistry and urinalysis.
Composed of nationally certified laboratory techs and phlebotomists, laboratory personnel participate in continuing education to ensure they are familiar with the most modern technologies and procedures. Approximately 95 percent of laboratory testing is done in-house.
The ability to do the majority of testing in-house is vital to expedited patient diagnoses and treatments. Our laboratory is staffed 24 hours per day to provide the best care possible year-round. Quality patient service and satisfaction are paramount.
Year round blood draws
Our laboratory offers routine lab testing for individuals who wish to know more about their health. Ranging from a Vitamin D check all the way through a multi part Cholesterol panel, this service provided by our Laboratory Department helps our patients stay on top of continued health concerns on their schedule.
