We recognize every person as a whole human being with different needs that must be met through listening, empathizing and nurturing.
We are dedicated to employing, training, and providing staff with the appropriate tools needed to respond to the unique needs of our patients, our coworkers, and our community.
We believe in taking ownership for ones responsibilities and goals. As owners we recognize it is our responsibility to do what is right for our patients, our hospital and our coworkers. We understand each of us plays a critical role in fulfilling our mission.
We believe employees who enjoy their role within the organization and their relationships with one another create a healthy environment for all. We look for both fun and humor, when appropriate, in our daily work.
We believe respect for one's self and for others is the foundation of honor and the basis of integrity. Such respect is essential for nurturing the innovative spirit of our hospital.
We hold ourselves accountable to the highest ethical and performance standards, demonstrating honesty, professionalism and sincerity.
We provide care that is respectful of and responsive to individual patient preferences, needs, and values. We will remember that people are our reason for our being here, not an interruption of our work.
At Memorial Hospital of Converse County our mission is "To Deliver Excellent Care with Compassion." A statement we don't take lightly. We have invested millions in the latest technologies to help ensure our patients have access to the most advanced treatments in the region.
Memorial Hospital of Converse County and the Human Resource Council have teamed up to bring you the Douglas Fall Health Fair! Starting at 8 am on Saturday, October 15th, the Douglas Rec Center will be filled with health-related vendors just for you! If you participated in the blood draws, you can pick up your results right there AND have them reviewed for free by one of Memorial Hospital's healthcare providers. You can bring the kiddos along too and help them get some physical activity going crazy on the bounce houses from Fun on the Go!
The Organ Trail Zombie 5K is a zombie-themed 5K fun event throughout the City of Douglas, Wyoming and is organized by the Memorial Hospital of Converse County with the support of many local organizations and businesses. The event is not timed and is not a competition—just a fun experience.
