Overview of Our Benefits Package
Eligibility:
Benefits are available to employees who regularly work 30+ hours per week. We offer coverage options for legally married spouses, domestic partners, and eligible dependent children.
- Choice between a Traditional PPO plan or a Qualified High Deductible Health Plan (HSA plan)
- Access to MHCC network and BCBS of Wyoming network
- Preventative/wellness care covered at 100% in-network
- Coverage for office visits, urgent care, hospital services, emergency room, and prescriptions
Health Savings Account (HSA)
- Available when enrolled in the qualified high-deductible medical plan
- Tax-advantaged account for eligible medical, dental, and vision expenses
- Unused funds roll over year to year; no "use it or lose it"
- Employer matches employee HSA contributions up to a monthly limit
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
- Health Savings Account education and comparison tools through HealthEquity
- Limited Purpose FSA for dental and vision when paired with a HSA
- Dependent Care FSA to pay eligible child and elder care expenses with pre-tax dollars
- Dental coverage through Delta Dental of Wyoming
- Preventative services generally covered at 100% in-network
- Basic and major services including fillings, crowns, endodontics, and oral surgery
- Orthodontia for children under 19 years of age, subject to plan maximums
- Vision coverage through VSP
- Routine eye exam benefit on a regular schedule
- Coverage or allowances for lenses, frames, or contact lenses
- Cafeteria plan (Section 125 of internal revenue code)
- Premium conversion
- Health care account
- Child care account
- Company-paid Basic Life and AD&D based on a multiple of annual base salary
- Voluntary Life and AD&D options for employees, spouses, and children
- Employer-paid short-term disability coverage to replace a portion of income during qualifying non-work-related illnesses or injuries
- Provides financial protection during approved medical leave periods, subject to waiting periods and benefit maximums described in the plan documents
- Earn 192 hours per year. May be used for:
- Holidays
- Vacations
- First 24 hours of illness
- Available after 3 months of full time employment
- Increased after 5, 10, 15 and 20 years
- Carries over year to year
- May accrue up to 288 hours
- Cash out option
- Earn 48 hours per year. May be used for:
- Extended illness lasting more than four consecutive days
- Hospitalization
- Outpatient surgery
- Employees may make contributions by payroll deduction to a 457 account
- Contributions may be made with pre-tax or post-tax dollars
- After one full year of employment, the hospital will deposit an amount equal to 3% of the employee's gross wage to a 401(a) account. There is a 6 year vesting schedule for this account.

- Online member portals with BCBSWY, MyPrime, Delta Dental, VSP, and HealthEquity for ID cards, claims, provider search, and account management
- Hospital-based inservices
- Hospital pays for appropriate inservices outside the facility
